
Creativity and Mental Health Intern
Bruna is a musician and researcher with an undergraduate degree in Music Education from the School of Music and Fine Arts of Paraná, and an MA in Music Pyschology from the University of Sheffield. She is currently conducting her PhD studies at the University of Leeds about the impacts of choirs for people affected by homelessness. She is also part of the Singing in Balance Network, working in collaboration with other researchers and practicioners in the UK to promote accessible and inclusive singing communities. She worked as a music teacher for 10 years in private and public schools in Brazil, as well as in community programmes from the Cultural Foundation of Curitiba. In 2021, she worked with PPP as a co-researcher in the project “Social action: an active ingredient promoting youth mental health”.
