Germma Orleans-Thompson is a creative who currently works primarily in theatre. She has worked at the Almeida Theatre and is currently part-time at the King’s Head Theatre, Islington, alongside her work at PPP. She has an undergraduate degree in Drama and Theatre Studies, and spent her year abroad in Buffalo, New York. She is a Young Creative, the youth board for the organisation Creative Youth, and her company, Sculptress Theatre, are also recipients of funding from their Creative Talent programme. Their first performance, Dark and Lovely, investigated how black women’s voices are perceived in the media.

Germma was appointed in April 2019 to coordinate the People of Letters project, the first phase of the Museum of Colour. She works with us two days a week.
