What’s Culture got to do with the planet’s climate?

This booklet explores what connects art and culture to the fight to defend our territories.

This material is a result of the project Climate is Culture in partnership with Amazonia de Pé. In February 2025, we brought together 30 participants to Alter do Chão, Borari Indigenous Territory, Pará, including artists, cultural practitioners, masters of popular traditions, socio-environmental and climate activists, researchers, environmentalists, and communicators. Over the course of three days, the group collaboratively developed materials for a global civil society awareness campaign.
