Casa Amarela was an arts centre established by artist JR in Rio de Janeiro’s oldest favela, Providencia, which was demolished during the construction of a new cablecar.

In 2010 PPP and Spectaculu staged an installation of Encounters:Transforming Lives at Casa Amarela.
