Casa Rio Manager, PPPdoBrasil

From Paraiba, Elquires moved to Rio de Janeiro in 2013. He started his professional journey in theatre working as a stagehand and stage assistant. Elquires got trained by the incredible Spectaculu School of Arts and Technology, always involved in arts production and performances.

He started working for People’s Palace do Brasil in 2005 when Casa Rio was set up and has been contributing with the institution ever since running artistic residencies and cultural events.

In 2018 Elquires was hired as a PPP do Brasil staff as a technician and producer assistance. Today he is the general manager of Casa Rio and also collaborates with PPP team and work across all projects.
