London, 2nd May 2024- PPP’s team is the 2024 winner of the Queen Mary Research and Innovation Awards in Impact: Culture, Civic, Community and Policy for the Indigenous Exchange and Climate Action projects.

 

 

The event took place at Cinema 1 at the Barbican Centre in London, followed by a reception at the Conservatory. Representing PPP’s team and Indigenous partners, our director Paul Heritage received the award. In his short speech, Paul emphasised that we are in a global climate emergency and PPP’s Indigenous projects are a live example of how the arts, culture and researchers should be engaging in the climate debate.
The award featured groundbreaking projects and the impact Queen Mary University’s research is having locally and globally.
